Swingin‘ Tunes – seasonal and beyond
The night before Holiday Week begins, Ray Aichinger and his band will bring some Swinging classics to our dancefloor. Come by to Lindy, Charleston & Swing in the Holiday Season to live music. See you there 🕺✨🎄🥂

Bei unserem Tag der offenen Tür kannst du in unserem Ballroom kostenlos verschiedene Swingtänze ausprobieren. Keine Anmeldung und keine Tanzvorkenntnisse nötig. Teilnahme ohne eigene:n Partner:in möglich – beim Tanzen werden Partner:innen gewechselt.

16:15-17:00 großer Saal: Balboa – Studio: Solo Jazz
17:15-18:00 großer Saal: Collegiate Shag – Studio: Swing Tap

Wir empfehlen bequeme Freizeitkleidung und (bitte saubere) Schuhe mit rutschigen Sohlen. Flache Absätze sind vorteilhaft (außer bei Balboa, wo Follower auch gut mit hohen Absätzen tanzen können).
Vor Ort stehen die Trainer:innen und das Organisationsteam für Fragen zur Verfügung. Mitte Februar starten dann unsere Semesterkurse.

Ort: Unser Vereinslokal ist der SLIH Ballroom in der Sechshauser Str. 9 im 15. Bezirk. Läute bei Tanzschule, mach die Tür auf und geh im Haus die Stiegen runtern, dann bist du schon bei uns. Dort gibt es zwei Säle: Den großen Ballroom und das kleinere Studio.

Since our first event was such a large success, we’re back for another queer Lindy Hop social dance event, this time on Saturday, December 20th, from 19:00 to midnight! 

Don’t leave Vienna for the holidays just yet. Come dance with us at the spacious Althangrund alte WU Mensa (upstairs level), the same space as our first event.
This time there will be no break in the middle like last time, we’re dancing straight through! Below us, Althangrund will be hosting a holiday Punschumtrunk, we encourage you to head downstairs for drinks from the bar and to mingle with the other guests.

And because we know the building can be confusing a link in our bio (and in Althangrund’s bio) will show you exactly how to enter and find us. We’ll also post a short video in our story a few hours before the event with exact directions.

Again, to help us cover the space and keep these events going, we need your financial support. We are asking for a suggested donation of 5€ from each participant with the capacity to pay. But if you can’t donate, we still want you on our dance floor. No questions asked, no explanations needed.

We can’t wait to see you again – the goofy footwork, big smiles, the soft moments, the joyful chaos – it was all inspiring and we can’t wait to dance with you again.
Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned dancer, whether you’re queer, questioning, trans, nonbinary, or anywhere in between this dance floor is for you. Come by and enjoy the jazz and the community.

The Darling Delilahs’ Spooky Soirée is creeping your way — an evening of haunting dance shows, bewitching burlesque, and a swingin’ social dance with our DJs

Doors open at 19:00, with a show every hour on the hour until 23:00 — and more dancing after midnight strikes…

Die Location wurde gerade liebevoll renoviert und ist original aus den 1920ern.
Mit dem Tudo Bem hat das Swing Baby Swing – Tanzcafe ein wunderbares neues Zuhause gefunden.
Die Band: „Fräulein Feuerstein and the Swinging Brothers“ swingt im Schaufenster !!
Der Tanzboden wird heiß, versprochen……. Don´t forget your dancing shoes !

Anlässlich der Balboa Workshops mit Rudi & Tiphane (Info und Anmeldung hier) möchten wir dem Wochenende ein bisschen Mini-Festival-Vibes geben und dafür brauchen wir jeden Abend eine Party.

Samstag: Balboa in the Park – Indoor Edition
Sonntag: Swing the Boat
Balboa in the Park findet diesmal indoor im Park des Postsportvereins (Halis – 1170 Wien, Roggendorfgasse 2) statt.
Das Lokal kennt ihr vielleicht bereits von Sonja & Daves Rock’n’Roll Parties.
EINE GROSSE BITTE:
Es gibt keinen Eintritt, aber bitte konsumiert Getränke an der Bar.
Es ist schwierig, ein Lokal zu finden, das uns Tänzer*innen ohne Miete beherbergt. Daher ist es also sehr fair, wenn der Wirt ein bisserl was verdient. Das ist auch in unserem Sinne, damit wir weiterhin willkommen sind

Ein Ball mit einem Swing-Room und Musik von originalen Schellack-Platten der 1920er-1950er. Axel und Sandra geben alles, damit der Swing-Room voller positiver Vibes schwingt. Es gibt neben Swing-Musik auch Vintage-Banger der Standard- und Lateintänze.
Der Ball Glitzer & Glamour 2025 steht unter dem Motto “Zeitreise in die 1920er Jahre” – tauchen wir gemeinsam ein ins Zeitalter des Swing! Wir freuen uns auf einen unterhaltsamen Abend mit Tanzmusik von Ballroom bis Swing – Crossovers und Aha-Erlebnisse garantiert!

Enjoy the end of your Monday’s work day with the Monday Ride Quartet at Hotel Ruby Lissi.
Have a drink, dance or just listen to some hard swinging jazz in one of Vienna’s cosiest hotel bars.
Every Monday evening our quartet will transform Ruby’s hotel bar into THE place for lovers of modern swinging jazz, dancers who love to dance to live music and just about anyone who enjoys jazz and cocktails.

Entrance Fee: Donation for the Band (recommended €10-20).
